Dear Parents,
Our annual Nanke International Forensics Tournament (NIFTy) will be coming up on Saturday, March 7th , and Sunday, March 8th . The tournament is an excellent opportunity for our middle and high school students to compete and interact with students from high schools around Taiwan, as well as a chance to improve their speaking, debate, and performance skills. It is truly a one of the kind experiences, and a highlight of our year at IBST.
This is an opportunity for students to help with timing, and working as judge assistants. Not only does this give them the chance to assist and become part of the success of the tournament, but it is also a chance to familiarize themselves with the tournament for future years when they can compete. Without the hard work and help of timers and judge assistants, this great event would not be possible!
* Priority will be given to students who are able to assist throughout the entire competition day.
* All timers and judge assistants will be provided meals for the days they volunteer.
If you’re interested, please fill out this form. I will give a printed consent form to your child. After signing it, please have your child bring it back to school and submit it to me.
