2026 IBST Reader’s Theater Competition Preliminary Contest Implementing Plan

1. Purpose:

To whom may be interested in participating in the IBST Reader’s theater Preliminary Contest

2. Participants: Grade 4, Grade5 and Grade 6 in IBST.
3. Time and Venue:

1. Registration time: 2025/10/14 (Tuesday)16:00
2. Order for contest: 2025/10/15 (Wednesday) 8:00
3. Contest Venue: 2^nd floor Music Room
4. Contest time: 2025/10/15 (Wednesday) Nap time: 12:40-13:30

4. Procedure:
   Students wait outside. Then come in one at a time to read/perform various readings for the judges. (Assigned Scripts will be given to students at contest time.)
5. Judges: The Reader Theater coach and two other LA teachers.
6. Judging Criteria:
   A. Intonation delivery: 30%

B. Expression and Clarity: 40%

C: Stage presence and movement: 30%

7. Result: Judges will choose 5-8 students to represent the school to participate in the Tainan City Reader’s theater.
