The GMEC (Global Mathematical Elite Competition) is a global mathematics competition organized by Hong Kong's First Education in collaboration with the top American mathematics education institution AOPS, Taiwan's CMA (Chinese Mathematical Association), as well as educational institutions from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and other regions. The competition also involves international schools from the United Kingdom, the United States, New Zealand, and South Africa. The preliminary rounds take place annually in March, with the final competition held in Hong Kong every August.
Preliminary Rounds: March 17, 2024, held in various examination centers across Taiwan.
Finals: August 16-20, 2024, held in Hong Kong.
