2024 IBST Host Program

1. Objectives

(1) To provide students from IBST and SMÍCHOVSKÁ STŘEDNÍ PRŮMYSLOVÁ ŠKOLA A GYMNÁZIUM (SSPS) with opportunities for a mutual exchange of learning, as well as the opportunity to foster international friendship and partnership.

(2) To learn how to accommodate and interact with international guests in a host program.

a. IBST from grade 7 to 12 or regular department from grade 10 to 12 students are eligible to apply as host families. We will accept 10 students, with two on the waiting list.

b. Applicants should display a positive attitude and exhibit enthusiasm for learning and engaging with a new culture.

c. Host families are required to provide a separate bedroom or individual bed for the visiting student, furnish bedding and clothing space, linens, offer meals during his/her stay, arrange transportation, and organize weekend activities. 

d. Prospective host families must attend information sessions scheduled for late February.

壹、計畫宗旨：

一、提供學生與捷克 SMÍCHOVSKÁ STŘEDNÍ PRŮMYSLOVÁ ŠKOLA A GYMNÁZIUM (SSPS)學校學生相互交流、學習的機會，建立國際間友誼與夥伴關係，進行尊重與關懹的文化交流，培育具有國際素養的全球公民。

二、透過接待家庭合作模式，學習接待國際客人的應對及合適的待客之道。

二、報名資格及需求

1. 本校雙語部 7-12 年級及高中部 10-12 年級學生得申請報名參加甄選接待家庭。預計錄取學生10名，備取兩名。

2. 態度積極認真，個性樂觀進取，有國際交流熱忱。

3. 接待家庭應提供單獨的客房或個人的床鋪，並提供寢具及置物櫃空間。並於接待期間提供餐食、接送與安排周末出遊活動。

4. 徵選上家庭需參加相關說明會，日期將於 2 月下旬辦理。
