1975 |
Yong Ren Junior High School was established. Seven classes of students began their studying in the classrooms of Fu-Sing Elementary School (復興國小). |
1976/09/04 |
Yong Ren Junior High School was relocated in the present site and was enlarged into 14 classes. |
1977 |
Yong Ren Junior High School was enlarged into 23 classes. |
1979 |
Yong Ren Junior High School was reduced to 18 classes. |
1980 |
Yong Ren Junior High School was enlarged into 27 classes. |
1983 |
Yong Ren Junior High School was reduced to 18 classes. |
1984 |
Yong Ren Junior High School was enlarged into 27 classes. |
1987 |
The special education class was established. |
1990 |
An activity center with the capacity of more than one thousand people was established. |
1993 |
The five-story Tzi-Huei Building was established. |
1995 |
The Tzi-Huei class was established. |
1996 |
The 16 classrooms in the south of the campus were torn down. After that, a two-hundred |

Baking Laboratory and Ceramics Workshop were built in accordance with the Tzi-Huei Building. |
2001 |
Influenced by changes of social environment and different ideas on regional development, Yong Ren Junior High School was reduced to 13 ordinary classes, 2 special education classes, and 3 Tzi-Huei classes with 560 students and teaching staff of 70 members. |
In 1975, Tainan County Yongren High School was established. In 2005, the school was restructured into Tainan County Yongren Senior High School. In 2000, Tainan County and Tainan City were merged into a municipality. The school name was changed again to Tainan Municipal Yongren High School. In 2015, the school developed a vision: diversified development, warmth and friendliness, excellence and innovation, and community trust. The school also added images of students with reading exploration, physical and mental health, and an international perspective. In recent years, its devotion to the 12-year Basic Education Curriculum gradually makes Yongren High School a high-quality community high school with six grades. |
