說明：
一、 依據教育部國民及學前教育署 112 年 10 月 25 日臺教國署學字第 1120148130 號函辦理。
二、 查學校衛生法第 24 條規定：「高級中等以下學校，應全面禁菸；並不得供售菸、酒、檳榔及其他有害身心健康之物質。」
三、 次查兒童及少年福利與權益保障法第 43 條規定：「（第 1 項）兒童及少年不得為下列行為：一、吸菸、飲酒、嚼檳榔......。（第 3 項）任何人均不得販賣、交付或供應第一項第一款至第三款之物質、物品予兒童及少年......。」、第 91 條第 2 項規定：「販賣、交付或供應酒或檳榔予兒童及少年者，處新臺幣一萬元以上十萬元以下罰鍰。」
四、 為建立無檳校園，落實學校檳榔危害防制工作，倘學校查獲學生攜帶或嚼食檳榔，請依兒童及少年福利與權益保障法施行細則第 11 條第 1 項規定予以勸導制止，並酌情通知兒童及少年之父母、監護人或實際照顧之人加強管教；如知悉出處或販售來源，請通報當地社會局（處）或警察單位查處。
五、 檢送教育部國民及學前教育署委託國立陽明交通大學發展之「學生嚼檳建議處遇流程」1 份（如附件），請各校參考、運用，共同推行檳榔防制工作。
